World Kindness Day – Saturday 13 November – Harvey

World Kindness Day

Saturday 13 November is World Kindness Day and we are proud to share news of two outstanding local supporters, who we feel deserve a special mention…

The second charity superstar who we wish to celebrate is Harvey, who for the second year running has gone above and beyond for our local mental health services. Having already completed an epic charity walk last year (visiting 20 local football clubs) in aid of Manchester Mind, which raised £645, this young superstar wanted to help again, as he cares so much for others and knows that during the pandemic many more people have been struggling with their mental health.

Harvey also knows how much our local cause means to his family, so he simply said, ‘I need to do another challenge” and then set about dreaming up his charity initiative. Enlisting the help of his Grandad, who is suffering from cancer, they decided to draw a picture of Stonehenge and had the image printed. So far, Harvey has raised £560, but he is determined to match or beat last years’ amount. If you can help by making a small donation, leaving with a kind message for Harvey, please visit his page.
