New Peer Support Group: Walking Football

pair of orange trainers

Are you wanting to try something new to support your mental health? Join our Walking Football Peer Support group – a welcoming space for people to connect, stay active, and support their mental wellbeing through walking football.

This peer support group provides a safe place without any judgement where you can try the sport at a slower pace. Here at Manchester Mind, we recognise that mental health is just as important as physical health, and through this group, we hope to create a sense of belonging.

As with all our groups this activity will be run by volunteers and anyone over the age of 18 can join, regardless of fitness level. Our aim is to build an environment where you can access support and boost your physical and mental health. By sharing and understanding, we create better wellbeing, increased self-esteem and confidence.

Join us as we kick off this new initiative, bringing people together through sport, conversation, and community.

This group takes place on Tuesdays and will run for 11 weeks from mid-April.

Book your place by filling in our referral form
