Training Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions required for booking Manchester Mind's training provision.

1. Training Terms and Conditions

a) Learner Attendance: the client is responsible for ensuring their learners are aware of all training details and that they attend the training date/s, as agreed.
b) Venue, Equipment & Materials: the client will provide a suitable training venue and all equipment where required by the trainer (projector, flip chart stand). Manchester Mind will provide all training materials as required, plus flipchart paper and pens.
c) Health & Safety: the client shall comply with all applicable health and safety laws and statutory regulations in relation to the provision of the training. Manchester Mind will adhere to health and safety laws when delivering the training.
d) Confidentiality: Data on your organisation including contact name, email address, telephone number, address, and booking details will be held on our secure systems for the purposes of fulfilling your contract. We will not share data on you with anyone outside of Manchester Mind without prior approval. We are committed to protecting your personal information and making every effort to ensure that your personal information is processed in a fair, open and transparent manner. We are a “data controller” for the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 and (from 25 May 2018) the EU General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“Data Protection Law”). e) Cancellation by Manchester Mind: In the event of Manchester Mind cancelling the training course, the client will receive confirmation in writing and a full refund.
f) Cancellation by Client: in the event of a client cancellation, the client agrees to make the cancellation known in writing, where relevant with an alternative date offered to reschedule the course. Cancellation charges are as follows per course: 30 days’ notice before course date: 10% of total cost; 14 days’ notice before course date: 50% of the total cost; less than 13 days’ notice before course date: no refund.
g) Compliance with Client Contract: Manchester Mind will adhere to the terms and conditions of any separate contract issued by the client.

2. Payment

a) The client agrees to pay Manchester Mind the agreed training fee (travel, materials and expenses, if any, will be agreed prior to booking).
b) Manchester Mind will issue an invoice to the client at least 7 days before the course date.
c) The client will pay the total fee to Manchester Mind by BACS (quoting the invoice number) within 31 days of issue. Any finance queries should be raised within 7 days of issue with the Finance Team at Manchester Mind on 0161 7695732.
