About our free training
Our supportive training is for all those living in the city of Manchester, as well as being made available to our Manchester Mind volunteers.
All volunteers have access to training both to enable people to carry out their volunteering roles, but also development training such as presentation skills, confidence and assertiveness and mental health awareness training.

Practical information on how to deliver presentations and build confidence in speaking in public.
Mental Health Awareness Training
Our introduction to mental health will help you gain a better insight into a range of common mental health problems and dispels the myths and stereotypes surrounding mental health.
Assertiveness and Confidence
Guidance in overcoming anxiety and building resilience in dealing with difficult situations

Due to funding restrictions we can only accept applications from people living in the city of Manchester, i.e. those with postcodes beginning ‘M’ followed by 1, 2, 3 (Manchester not Salford), 4, 8, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 (Manchester not Trafford), 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 40 or 90.
