Winter Fuel Payment
If you claim the State Pension, you should automatically be given support for heating payments in the Winter. If you are over the state pension age and you have not claimed the state pension, you may need to claim. Further information can be found here
Cold Weather Payment
If the weather falls below 0 degrees for seven consecutive days between November and March, and you are on an income related benefit, you may be eligible for a Cold Weather Payment. These are only paid in certain circumstances, for instance if you have a health condition or disability. Further information can be found here
