Our Greatest Manchester Run!

great manchester run

We are thrilled to announce that our brilliant charity runners raised an astounding £27,124.68 in aid of our local services in May! This year over 150 people enter the Great Manchester Run, together with many more charity partner teams of runners, which is a significant increase from 2018. With so many Manchester Mind t-shirts seen throughout the race crowds, each runner has helped create a greater awareness of our local charity…

Manchester Mind is an independent, local mental health charity, which supports 6,500 young people and adults each year. We believe that everyone deserves to be supported in their mental health needs and we have a part to play in that. We value the commitment of our staff and volunteers, who work hard to ensure services are delivered in a way that enables people to feel heard and involved. Donations make a real difference, so thank you for being part of our success this year.

Manchester Mind has been overwhelmed by the level of support shown this May and we want to thank each and every runner for their dedication and kindness.

This staggering achievement also came midway through our most successful fundraising year to date, which began with a real bang with RED January! Since then a record number of new fundraisers have pledged their support – from sporting challenges, monthly donations to creative events – so we can’t wait to see what the next six months will bring.

Thank you again to our fundraisers for your endless energy and enthusiasm – Manchester Mind simply cannot continue to deliver local mental health services without your support.
