The stories resonate far beyond the words that accompany them.
To mark the occasion of our 30th anniversary, staff were invited to contribute an object to an exhibition which featured at our celebration event on Thursday 19 September 2019. With each object was a story about mental health. Some of the objects are drawn from professional experiences of working within mental health, while others are more personal. The stories resonate far beyond the words that accompany them.
They present a thought-provoking collection that is so powerful that we had to capture it beyond the anniversary event and preserve it for the future. The collection is testimony to the great achievements made by Hulme Action Research Project (HARP) and Manchester Mind over the last 30 years, alongside the ambitions and optimism the team holds for the future.
Over the coming months we will be adding the objects to this section of the website and sharing the stories here and on our social media accounts. Watch this space for more information…
