Your Story

We are always looking for people to share their experiences of mental health and their interactions with Manchester Mind. Blogging is a great way to share your story. Your experiences can also help other people too.

Sharing your story

We are interested in hearing from you if you are – a service user, volunteer, trustee, member of staff, fundraiser or have come into contact with Manchester Mind in another way, and would like to share your story about your experience of mental health.

Using our news pages we want to share the stories of those who have experience of mental health problems in Manchester. These stories may also be used on our social media accounts and in our newsletter.

Writing about mental health is really important as it helps other people’s understanding and by telling the story, in your words, it can be focused on personal experience, rather than facts and figures. It is also really helpful to share your experiences of Manchester Mind, as it can help other people find out what we are like, from another person who has been helped by, or volunteered with us.

Christmas Opening Hours

Our phone lines will be open throughout the festive period Monday-Friday 10am-3pm except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
